Biography:
Photojournalist, documentary photographer.
Born in Turkey in 1957.
He has worked for Black Star Agency and ICP International Center of
Photography in New York,U.S.A.
He has released and published three long-term documentary projects,
Kusbazlar / Birdsmen, Istanbul (1994-1996), The New York Subway / The
City Underground (1997-1998), Arabesque/ Istanbul (1998-2007). These
works also published as books.
His photo-essays have been published in several magazines and
newspapers including National Geographic Turkey and Greece editions.
He was the Photo Editor of National Geographic/Turkey in 2003.
He has been teaching photojournalism and documentary photography in various schools in Turkey since
1998. |
